**Nat boil water notice has been rescinded**
Multiple repairs have been completed and the well site at Nat is now running as intended. The LGSUD crew (with assistance from some local contractors) have located and fixed all known leaks caused by the January Ice Storm. The samples were taken to the laboratory and have come back clear so now the boil water notice can be rescinded!
The Boil water notice issued on 1/27/26 for the Nat side of the LGSUD water system is now rescinded for the LGSUD water system.
On 1/27/26 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Lilly Grove SUD to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system (an ice storm/multiple freezing temperature days caused damage to multiple components of the Nat well site and caused multiple broken pipes in service lines), the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. Lilly Grove SUD has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 2/20/26. If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Zachariah Mobley (Operator) at 1-936-715-8191 or Nichol Daniel (Business Manager) at 1-936-569-9292.
